City Of West Palm Beach Re-Opens Select Parks And Recreation Amenities

Use will be at the individual's own risk.

The City of West Palm Beach recently announced the re-opening of certain installations within City parks. Maintaining social distancing guidelines and frequent disinfection practices, the following areas are currently open for public use:

  • Boat ramps: freshwater, saltwater (recreational), saltwater (commercial)
  • Courts: basketball, racquetball, tennis, volleyball
  • Fishing areas (keeping a distance of 10 feet apart)
  • Fitness equipment
  • Kayak/canoe concessions
  • Parks: City, community, dog, neighborhood, skate
  • Playgrounds
  • Pool/aquatic center
  • Restrooms
  • Splash pads

While members of the public are welcome to use these facilities, doing so will be at the individualโ€™s own risk. CDC guidelines will be posted at each of these areas as a reminder of responsible use.

Additional parks and recreation installations will be re-opened once it is safe to do so. Pavilions (for group rentals), sports fields usage by large group and recreation centers remain closed until further notice.
