I started Matt for Math because I genuinely believe that every student can improve at math—they just need someone to explain it in a way that actually clicks. I’ve worked with students across the Mattawan area, from elementary kids just getting comfortable with numbers to high schoolers navigating the complexities of Algebra and Calculus. There is nothing better than seeing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally sticks.

As a high school math tutor, I see a lot of students who have convinced themselves they just aren't "math people." In my experience, that’s rarely the case.
