FL Man Says ‘Voodoo’ Made Him Impregnate 13-Year-Old Girl: Report
A West Palm Beach man faces multiple felony charges for impregnating a 13-year-old girl, reports said.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A West Palm Beach man faces charges after impregnating a 13-year-old girl, according to multiple reports.
Jean Evenel Innocent, 41, was charged with four felonies — two counts of sexual battery with a child, one count of incest and one count of impregnation of a child, according to Local 10 News.
The girl, complaining of abdominal pain, went to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. A pregnancy test showed that she was about six weeks pregnant, reports said.

The victim told authorities that Innocent raped her four times since July 2020, most recently in November of this year, CBS 12 reported.
During a controlled call recorded by police, the victim told Innocent that she was throwing up and was going to take a pregnancy test at the hospital. He told her to make up a story about a relationship with a boy and said he would go to jail if she told anyone about what happened, reports said.

After his arrest, Innocent told police that “voodoo caused him to have sexual intercourse” with the girl, according to Kiro 7.
