As part of Mayor Keith A. James’ commitment to improve safety and adopt new technologies that drive efficiency in the City of West Palm Beach, the City of West Palm Beach Department of Parking Administration has implemented a new, state-of-the-art parking guidance system to improve the visitor experience in four City of West Palm Beach garages.
Working with ECO Parking Technologies, the City installed the FlexTech FALCON VISION Lighting and Parking Guidance System. The new system acts like a personal assistant or concierge for motorists. Upon entry into the garage, an electronic billboard notifies visitors of available spaces. A bright LED indicator directs parking clients to an open space, which is tracked by a camera and sensor system. The system also regulates lighting and is energy efficient.
