Second West Palm Beach Community Budget Meeting Scheduled For Monday, July 27
The session will take place via Zoom from 10 a.m. to noon.

The City of West Palm Beach will host a virtual community budget meeting to present the Fiscal Year 2020/21 budget outlook on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. โ noon. The public is invited to learn, ask questions, and submit any cost savings ideas during the meeting for the City to consider. To promote social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the City has turned to Zoom technology to host public meetings. Please note the following Zoom information for the meeting:

The impacts of COVID-19 on the broad and local economy have caused a significant loss in revenues which is adversely affecting the Cityโs current budget and our budgets for the foreseeable future. The public is highly encouraged to participate. Questions can be submitted before, during, and after the presentations but by no later than the close of business on Monday, July 27, 2020.

- Written/Recorded Comment or Question (by email): A written or recorded comment or question can be emailed to publiccomments@wpb.org
- In person (at the Public Comment Kiosk): Make a public comment or ask a question at the Comment Kiosk located in the Flagler Gallery at City Hall. Please follow CDC guidelines and COVID-19 local emergency orders.

Budget adoption hearings are scheduled for:
- September 10, 2020 (5:01 p.m.): First public hearing to adopt the tentative FY 2021 budget and millage rate
- September 24, 2020 (5:01 p.m.): Second and final public hearing to adopt the final FY 2021 budget and millage rate.
