Volunteers Sought To Assist With Coronavirus Response
Living Hungry and the city of West Palm Beach need help in co-hosting food distributions for local organizations through the end of August.

The City of West Palm Beach is seeking volunteers to assist with COVID-19 response. The City and Living Hungry are co-hosting food distributions for local organizations through the end of August of 2020. During this weekly event, approximately 1,500 to 2,000 boxes of food are donated to organizations to help families who have been negatively affected by COVID-19. Due to increasing demand, event organizers request the help of additional volunteers to help ensure all community needs are met.

Volunteer positions are open to anyone ages 13 years or older. Following CDC guidelines and local orders, the group meets every Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. โ 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the former West Palm Beach Golf Course located at 7001 Parker Avenue.
