West Palm Beach Mayor Promotes Nathaniel Rubel To Procurement Official

Rubel has served in the City's Procurement Division for the past four years.

The City of West Palm Beach announces that Nathaniel Rubel has been promoted to the position of Procurement Official effective October 18, 2020. During the last four years, Mr. Rubel has served in the Cityโ€™s Procurement Division as a Procurement Supervisor.

Mr. Rubel is a procurement professional with more than a decade of purchasing experience in commercial construction and municipal utility industries. He is a Certified Public Procurement Officer through the Universal Public Procurement Certification Counsel and is a member of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing and the Southeast Florida Chapter of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.

The Procurement Division is responsible for purchasing all supplies, materials, equipment and services required by City departments and entities. All acquisitions are made according to established rules and regulations in the City's procurement code in addition to local, state, and federal laws.
