Workshop On When, How To Harvest Fruit Set for Saturday At City Of West Palm Beach Food Forest

Have you ever wanted to learn how to harvest and pick your own fruit? Now you can. On Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. โ€“ 10:30 a.m., the City of West Palm Beachโ€™s Office of Sustainability, in partnership with Community Greening, will host a workshop, both in-person and online, to provide food and harvest education to the community. The workshop will take place at the Cityโ€™s food forest. โ€œFood forestsโ€ are carefully planned and planted public areas that provide edible products in an urban setting for the surrounding community.

TO ATTEND IN PERSON

Due to COVID-19 social distancing protocols, the in-person portion of the workshop will be limited to the first 15 registrants. To register, please visit: https://forms.gle/Sq8D3BDDt42cQpi28. Registrants may attend in-person at the West Palm Beach Food Forest, located at 1400 Henrietta Avenue.
