ā¢ 6-year-old boy hospitalized after shooting himself in shoulder with mother's gun, deputies say (wsvn.com) ā A 6-year-old boy is recovering after accidentally shooting himself in the shoulder with his motherās handgun at a home in West Perrine Tuesday afternoon. Deputies say his mother rushed him toward Jackson South Medical Center, and he was later airlifted to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where he is in stable condition as investigators determine whether any charges will be filed.
