Have You Seen This Porsche?

A home burglar reportedly decided to upgrade rides by swiping a 2005 yellow Porsche Carrera.

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help closing the books on a recent residential burglary that turned into a grand theft auto case.

According to the agency, a person or people, broke into a home on River Road in Tampa sometime on June 1. While inside the home, the person or people took cash, a firearm and electronics.

Not quite satisfied with the haul, it seems those responsible also drove off with the victim’s 2005 Porsche Carrera. The car was last seen going through the Anderson Road toll plaza on the Veterans Expressway just after 2 p.m. on June 1.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Those who wish to be eligible for a cash reward may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477 with their tips.
