ā¢ Fishing is Coming to Westlake ā and Other SID and City News (westlakewanderer.com) ā Westlake is moving closer to having its first legal public fishing spot, as Phase I of the new park at Sycamore and Seminole Pratt Whitney advances with $1.2 million in combined funding. The plan includes fishing along three lakes, bathrooms, monuments, and key infrastructure, with hopes of completion by FourthFest 2027. City leaders also reviewed The Avery luxury apartments project, including parking waivers, building heights, and design tweaks responding to resident feedback.
