Not here, Black Democrats say (kdhnews.com) — Weston voters are now part of Florida’s newly drawn 22nd Congressional District, a sprawling, Republican-leaning seat stretching from Davie and Weston across the state to Marco Island. Local Black Democratic leaders are pressuring Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz not to run in neighboring District 20, arguing she should instead use her funding and name recognition to try to keep District 22 in Democratic hands.
