• Wimauma Civil Air Patrol Squadron officially chartered (observernews.net) — A new Civil Air Patrol squadron based at Wimauma Airport is now officially chartered and actively recruiting both adult volunteers and cadets ages 12–18. Meeting Wednesday evenings, the unit will support local emergency services and offer aerospace and STEM education opportunities for Wimauma youth and families.
