• Florida man accused of stealing at least $180K from 4 in Illinois (abc7chicago.com) — A man identified as living in Wimauma has been indicted in Chicago on federal wire fraud charges, accused of running an investment scheme that took at least $180,000 from four Illinois residents. Prosecutors say the money was used for gambling and personal expenses between 2019 and 2022, and each count could carry up to 20 years in prison if he’s convicted.
