• Laurel Lee swats another challenge in CD 15 with easy victory over Robert People (floridapolitics.com) — Voters in the newly drawn Congressional District 15, which includes Zephyrhills and much of east Pasco, have re-elected Republican U.S. Rep. Laurel Lee with 54% of the vote over Democrat Robert People. The redrawn district, now more Republican-leaning and Gulf Coast-oriented, helped Lee win comfortably even as her underfunded challenger slightly overperformed expectations.
