$1M Single Powerball Ticket Sold In Georgia; Jackpot Grows To $49M
Georgia players have until 10 p.m. Wednesday to purchase their tickets for the next Powerball drawing.

GEORGIA — The $34 million Powerball prize was not won Monday night, but someone in Georgia became $1 million richer.
A single ticket matched all five white balls in the Powerball's latest drawing, making someone a millionaire, according to the lottery results. It is unknown where in Georgia the winning ticket was sold.
The winning white ball numbers were 2, 27, 31, 44, 64 while the red Powerball number was 18. The Power Play was 3X.

Two people won $50,000 prizes. The jackpot now sits at $49 million for Wednesday's drawing.
Winning online tickets have an expiration date of 180 days from the drawing date while instant ticket winners have 90 days from the expired date to claim prizes. Instructions on how to receive prizes are here.

Playing the Powerball costs $2, and drawings are held at 11 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are sold until 10 p.m. on draw nights. Power Plays cost an additional $1.
Players can choose five white ball numbers from 1-69 and a red Powerball number from 1-26. The Quik Pik option is available for players who want the computer to choose.
