• This Chick-fil-A Dwarf House is closing its doors until next summer (wsbtv.com) — Fayetteville's Chick-fil-A Dwarf House was scheduled to close November 6 for an extensive remodel, with reopening expected in early June 2027 as a Truett's restaurant. The change follows a 2022 renovation at the original Hapeville location, which retained its little red door and other familiar features.
   

• College athletes from South Fulton County post results in 5 sports for the week ending Oct. 25, 2026 (southfultontoday.com) — A women's soccer player from Hapeville recorded a shot in Point University's 3–1 win over Brewton-Parker on October 24. The performance appears in a roundup of 53 college athletes with South Fulton County ties, which also includes a Hapeville Charter alumnus who intercepted a pass in Samford's win over Furman.
