2 Missing NY Children Found Living In Shed In GA; Mom Arrested
A mom, who is the non-custodial parent of her two children, is accused of fleeing to Georgia from New York with the small kids.
TRENTON, GA — A mother is facing charges after authorities say she disappeared with her two children from New York and fled to Georgia.
New York State Police on Wednesday said Nicole A. Koschuk, 42, is the non-custodial parent of her two children who are ages 4 and 6. Police had been searching for the two children since May.
According to news reports, the children disappeared from their Angelica (New York) home on May 10.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Service found them living with Koschuk in a shed in Trenton, police said.
The children were in good health and were turned over to the Dade County Department of Family and Children’s Services, police said.

Koschuk was arrested on a first-degree custodial interference charge due to an active warrant out of Wyoming County Court, New York, police said.
Authorities added they are working to determine who assisted Koschuk.
She is in the custody of the Dade County Sheriff's Office and awaiting extradition to New York, police said.
