$2M Powerball Ticket Sold In Georgia, Jackpot Swells To $1B
Nobody won Monday's $900 million jackpot, but tickets worth $2 million were sold in three states.
GEORGIA — Check your Powerball numbers, Georgia. While nobody won Monday's $900 million drawing, a ticket worth $2 million was sold in the Peach State.
No one matched all six winning numbers — white balls 5, 8, 9, 17, 41, and red Powerball 21. However, a ticket sold in Georgia matched all five white balls while using the Power Play option, making it worth $2 million.
Two similar tickets were also sold in Arkansas and Texas, according to Powerball's website.

Tickets worth $1 million — meaning they matched all five white numbers without the Power Play option — were sold in five states, including Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New York.
Since no one matched all six winning numbers, the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is an estimated $1 billion. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. ET.
