4 Georgia Residents Win $10K In Latest Mega Millions Drawing

GEORGIA — Four people in Georgia are $10,000 richer after Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing.

To win the Mega Millions, players must match four of the five white balls plus the golden Mega Ball. Winners numbers Tuesday were seven, 13, 14, 15 and 18 with nine on the Mega Ball. The Megaplier was three.

No players won the jackpot and the next drawing will take place Friday. According to the Georgia Lottery, it is set to be the second largest Mega Millions jackpot in history with an estimated prize of $1.35 billion ($707.9 million cash).

Channel 2 Action News reported the winning tickets were sold at a Citgo in Alpharetta, a QuikTrip in Norcross, a supermarket in Cordele and a convenience store in Murrayville.

Three winning tickets worth $3 million each were sold in Connecticut, Florida and New York, lottery officials said.

Thirteen winning tickets worth $1 million each were sold in California, Florida, Kansas, Massachusetts (two), Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio (two), Oregon, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, lottery officials said.

“The jackpot has rolled again, keeping everyone who follows Mega Millions in suspense for yet another drawing,” said Ohio Lottery Director Pat McDonald, lead director of the Mega Millions Consortium, in a news release. “Now at $1.35 billion, the Mega Millions jackpot is moving up and making history as the second highest Mega Millions jackpot ever. Our member lotteries raise funds for many good causes, ranging from education to conservation programs. We’re proud to support these efforts.”

The largest Mega Millions jackpot was a prize of $1.537 billion, lottery officials said. The winning ticket was sold in South Carolina on Oct. 23, 2018.
