Eat, Buy Local: Georgia Farmers Market Guide 2022

GEORGIA — Farmers markets are a sign of spring in Georgia, bringing shoppers together with their rural neighbors and producers. With summer officially starting in a few weeks, most weekly markets are open, or will be by the end of this week.

The Georgia Department of Agriculture has compiled a list of community farmers markets where farmers can sell directly to their neighbors. They are often operated by non-profits, or local governments.

The Centers for Disease Control says outdoor farmers markets are a "lower risk shopping option" that benefits both shoppers and the community.
