GA Gas Tax Suspension Extended
The supply chain state of emergency was also extended Monday.

ATLANTA, GA — The temporary gas tax suspension and the supply chain state of emergency were extended Monday in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, according to Gov. Brian Kemp's office.
"While Georgia was largely spared the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian, Florida and South Carolina endured both significant destruction and flooding," Kemp said in a news release.
"As we both pray for these neighbors in need and send resources and volunteers to aid in their recovery, we're also bracing for the impact on already strained supply chains and prices at the gas pump that are already too high."

According to Kemp's office, the southeast region could possibly have further supply chain issues and an increased demand on fuel supplies as Florida and South Carolina recover from Ian's damage.
The two orders expire at 11:59 p.m., Nov. 11.
