The final day to early vote is Friday, and Election Day is Tuesday, Dec. 6.
ATLANTA, GA — Friday is the last day of early voting in the Dec. 6 U.S. Senate runoff, and state elections officials reported nearly 1.4 million in-person ballots have been accepted.
More than 237,000 absentees have been requested, according to data from the Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office.
The runoff finds U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, a Democrat, once again facing challenger Herschel Walker, a Republican, in a race that will determine the party balance in the Senate.

According to the SOS office Thursday, Wednesday's in-person voting turnout nudged the total amount of voters across the state to over 1 million. More than 280,000 people voted Wednesday.
“Georgia’s voting system is working well," Raffensperger said in a news release. "While some counties are seeing more voter turnout than they anticipated, most have found a way to manage voter wait times, and I appreciate the election officials and workers across Georgia who are doing their level-best to accommodate our record turnout.”
Some metro Atlanta counties have reported long lines but state elections officials said there are several polling places who have reported little to no wait times.
Clayton, Forsyth, Richmond, Gwinnett, Fulton, Dekalb and Cobb counties all publish their wait times online.
People can find their early voting locations on the SOS's My Voter Page.
