ATLANTA, GA — If your Easter Sunday feast requires a quick run to a grocery store for rolls, eggs, chocolate bunnies or wine, be aware that some grocery stores in the Atlanta metro either won't be open or will have limited hours on the holiday April 17.
National chains are varied in their opening plans for the holiday celebrated across Christian faiths. Some chain stores plan to close for Easter, according to a list from the coupon company RetailMeNot.
Walmart, Kroger and Safeway are some of the grocery chains in Georgia staying open for at least part of the day, the list shows. At least two stores that require a membership to shop there, Sam's Club and Costco, will be closed, however.
