House Speaker Ralston Lies In State At Georgia Capitol

The casket of the late Georgia House Speaker David Ralston arrived Tuesday morning to the state capitol.

ATLANTA, GA — The casket of the late Georgia House Speaker David Ralston is in the state capitol, Atlanta News First reported.

Ralston died Nov. 16 due to an extended illness.

ANF reported the casked arrived Tuesday morning.

Gov. Brian Kemp said in mid-November Ralston will lie in state in the building's rotunda.

ANF reported the rotunda will remain open to the public until 7 p.m. Tuesday. It will be open from 7-11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
