2 Acworth Seniors Knit Caps For Newborns

Dynamic duo delivers 300 hand-knitted caps to Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs.

ACWORTH, GA -- Two Acworth seniors are paying it forward for a new generation by knitting caps for babies.

Ed Moseley, 87, and Lorraine Waddles, 85, are residents at assisted living facility Dogwood Forest. The dynamic duo delivered 300 hand-knitted caps to Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs earlier this month.

Their donation aligns with the local American Heart Association’s Little Hats, Big Hearts campaign, which raises awareness of congenital heart disease in newborns and others.
