Initiative changes the way parents, organizations and businesses invest in students’ education and empowerment needs
ACWORTH, GA –Alumni 4 America (A4A) is launching an entirely new, sustainable, highly rewarding fundraising platform in the Greater Atlanta region. Historically many fundraisers have lower than 30% return on the investment (ROI), the A4A platform turns the old model on its head, returning an unprecedented level of 70% back to students. There are two ways for everyone in the community to get involved; schools, teams/squads, student organizations, libraries and alumni associations are sure to be signing up to take advantage of this 1st of its kind opportunity.

“We want to change student fundraising in America,” said Debbie Hollis.of Acworth GA, Regional Director of Alumni 4 America. “Our fundraiser allows individuals, organizations and businesses large and small, to choose easy and powerful ways to contribute to students – while knowing where their money is going, regardless of the size of the participation. We have removed the time intensive burden from the fundraising directors, students and their parents. Our turnkey fundraiser is easy, effective and delivers a level of funds that until now would seem impossible. ”
A4A’s low-cost Reward Card/Mobile app is available so that individuals/families can purchase and show their support while saving up to 50% on local and national products and services for an entire year, 24/7 with unlimited use. Wherever the Rewards Card/Mobile app holder goes, the savings goes too. “Alumni 4 America already has built relationships offering products and services from more than 335,000 national brand locations,” added Larry McElwain of Sacramento, Calif., a founder and chief operating officer of Alumni 4 America. “We provide a 21st century fundraiser that can save contributors thousands of dollars on things they use every day!”
A4A’s Business Hero Network (BHN) purpose-driven fundraiser provides local businesses a high value approach to support their communities’ students. All BHN participants: 1) may select any student organization and foundation they wish to support 2) are showcased on the BHN national register 3) are provided certificates/decals to display in their business acknowledging their support 4) students/parents are notified of those businesses who chose to support students their community and 5) receive the highest level Rewards cards for their valued employees to enjoy. Participating businesses will also be afforded the ability to offer a discount/incentive on the A4A Rewards Card/Mobile app.
On the A4A website, it is as easy as possible – under 3 minutes time – for everyone to support students and communities whether you are a local business or individual. “For their contribution, whether a business is joining the Business Hero Network or an individual is purchasing our Reward Card/Mobile App, both are a truly a win-win for everyone,” Ann Myers of St Louis, Missouri, founder and President of Alumni 4 America explained.
Both the Business Hero Network and the Rewards Card/Mobile app raise money for student educational and empowerment needs –school supplies, computers, empowerment programs, team gear or travel expenses, and scholarships to name a few. Corporate sponsors, local businesses, organizations and individuals may target their investment to the student organization and charitable foundation of their choice.
In conjunction with the launch of the national fundraising campaign, Alumni 4 America also established a charitable partnership with three of the top national student supporting foundations in America, they include: the National Federation of Independent Businesses’ Young Entrepreneur Foundation, Youth Service America and the Stop Bullying Now Foundation. “We feel it is important to teach our children the value of giving, when students raise funds for their organization they also raise monies to support students on a national scale.”
Alumni 4 America is built on the belief that every former student should support America’s current students. “Children are our greatest resource, and we all need to stop shirking our individual responsibility and waiting for someone else to solve the problem, we each individually must assist in improving our schools and providing a first-class education to our children. Our platform offers and easy, low cost yet highly rewarding way to contribute” said Myers. “America has slipped in world rankings. For our children to compete in the global marketplace, we must get serious about giving them the tools they need.”
