Boy in Wheelchair Walks on Horizon Field for First Time
Justin Millwood's been in a wheelchair since he was born. On Saturday, he was able to walk the bases for the very first time.
Justin Millwood, a little boy from Acworth, has been in a wheelchair since the day he was born. Justin is a member of the Horizon League, and has played baseball on the special-needs in his wheelchair for four years.
On Saturday, Oct. 15, the boy got to walk the bases of the field on his own feet, for the very first time. Family and community members stood by his side and cheer for him. It was a day Justin's dream came true, on Acworth's own "Field of Dreams".
Earlier in September, the Annual fundraiser took place on the Horizon Field, with thousands volunteering and joining .
