Acworth Kroger to Unveil $2.1 Million Renovations with Community Celebration and Ribbon Cutting

On Friday, March 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., Kroger’s Atlanta Division will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration to unveil renovations at the Butler Crossing Kroger.

The community will be greeted with Kroger’s new Fresh for Everyone décor, along with updated floral, produce, bakery, meat and seafood departments, and a new sushi display. Renovations also include interior enhancements such as new check lanes and a patient care room.

As part of the celebration, Kroger will give away $25 gift cards to the first 200 customers who receive a wristband. Wristbands will be distributed beginning at 8:00 a.m. to the first 200 customers, while supplies last. The gift card offer is valid only at the Butler Crossing Kroger located at 3330 Cobb Pkwy. NW in Acworth. Limit one gift card per household.

Kroger will also honor its associates and community partners in education: Acworth Elementary School, Barber Middle School and North Cobb High School. Kroger will also recognize its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste partner, the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

In keeping with Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste commitment, Kroger contractors and partners recycled more than 95% of construction waste to prevent it from entering landfills.
