Chattahoochee Tech's Acworth Campus Offering UAV Course This Fall

The hands-on class is limited to 20 participants and costs $699.

Students at Chattahoochee Technical College’s Acworth campus can take part in a class detailing the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) during the month of October.

According to a release from the school, the UAV class will involve lectures, simulations, and hands-on flying time during the three-day course. The program will be taught by Steve Cain, a 25-year veteran of remote-controlled aircraft flying. Chattahoochee Tech’s Executive Director of Technology Advancement Scott Estes will join Cain in the classroom.

“The course will give you an introduction to what you need to successfully fly UAVs,” said Cain in the release.
