Cobb Accident Tuesday Evening Sends Man to Hospital
The accident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. in the eastern portion of the county.
A man is in the hospital following a severe traffic accident on Tuesday evening in eastern Cobb County which saw his car rear-end a semi truck, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The wreck occurred at approximately 9 p.m. in the 2100 block of East Piedmont Road, a Cobb police spokesman told the newspaper. The man driving the car was trapped inside his vehicle, and was reportedly conscious but injured. He was extracted from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital.
His identity and condition have not been released by authorities.
