Cobb NAACP Celebrates Juneteenth

For second year in a row, the Cobb NAACP sponsors "A Night Under the Stars" to begin its eighth year of honoring a day commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.

Rain or shine, mostly rain, would not stop the show as the 2nd Annual Cobb NAACP "Music Under the Stars" played at Glover Park at Marietta Square. The concert featured 10 groups or artists and played a variety of music from jazz to reggae to Christian rap.
