Cobb Police Search for Missing Elderly Person

The Cobb County Police Department has issued a Mattie’s Call for a missing 78-year-old man who has not been seen since Friday afternoon.

According to the Mattie’s Call, Francisco Jose Garcia was last seen at 3021 Sweet Flag Run in Austell at approximately 5:35 p.m. Friday. He was last seen wearing pajamas or blue jeans and was not wearing his dentures. He is described as standing 5’7” tall, weighing 154 lbs., bald with brown eyes. He has a scar on his chest from a previous surgery.

Garcia may be driving a black 1995 Isuzu Rodeo with Georgia license plate AUR4001.

Anyone who sees Garcia is asked to immediately call 911.
