Cobb School Bus Routes Ready for Viewing

The 2014-15 school year begins soon for Cobb County students.

The Cobb County School District is gearing up for the first day of classes on Aug. 4, and has released an online tool that will make parents’ lives a little bit easier.

Parents and guardians can visit this webpage and enter their address and the grade their child or children will be attending in the upcoming school year. The webpage will then provide information about the school bus stop your child or children will be picked up and dropped off from, including departure and arrival times.

Cobb County Schools has also announced that kindergarten and first grade students can ride the bus with their parents or guardians during a test run on the morning of Friday, Aug. 1. Parents and students will be picked up at their proper bus stop, driven to school, then brought back home.

Additionally, bus riding students will be allowed to drink water from containers with a screw lid during the months of August and September on days when the temperature is above 90 degrees.

Please contact the Cobb County School District’s Transportation Department at 678-594-8000 if you have additional questions.
