Court Services, Probation Temporarily Moving to New Police HQ
Additionally, court proceedings will relocate to the new facility next to the current Court Services building. Moving begins on Oct. 13.
Parts of Acworth’s judicial system are temporarily pulling up their stakes and relocating to the new headquarters of the Acworth Police Department, the city’s website reports.
Both Court Services and Probation will be moving to the new building at 4400 Acworth Industrial Drive starting on Oct. 13. The move is planned to be temporary.
Court proceedings are also relocating, setting up shop at the new facility located to the current Court Services building at 4408 Acworth Industrial Drive.

The offices will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and payments will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
An open house for the new police facility is scheduled for Oct. 8 from 3 to 8 p.m. A ribbon cutting will be held during the event, at 6:30 p.m.
