Elderly Man Missing From Cobb Found Safe In Florida (UPDATED)
Police say 77-year-old Fred Blacksmith suffers vanished from a Publix grocery store in Acworth.
ACWORTH, GA -- Cobb County police said a man who went missing from his Acworth-area home has been found safe, Patch has learned.
Fred Blacksmith, 77, was last seen at the Publix at 6110 Cedarcrest Road in Acworth on Saturday, police said.
He was found in Jacksonville, Florida, according to local news reports.

His family feared that he would be out of sorts because Blacksmith suffers from diabetes and is on medicine for chronic pain.
He is described as white male, 5’10” tall, 220 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. He may be wearing was a short sleeve-checkered shirt and blue jeans. He may also be wearing his wearing a Air Force veteran hat, police said.
