Important Information Regarding Acworth Court Services

Court will resume on Thursday, May 14th at 9:00 a.m. with a modified court calendar to adhere to social distancing.

Due to recent concerns involving COVID-19, all court cases have been rescheduled. Acworth Municipal Court staff have made phone calls and sent reschedule notices to all those affected.

In the event you are a member of an immune-compromised population (or living in a household with someone who is immune-compromised); if you are over 65; if you have small children and do not have child care, you may request a 30-60 day continuance by emailing Court Services at acworthcourt@acworth.org.

All court proceedings will be conducted in accordance with the Georgia Supreme Court Order issued on Monday, May 11, 2020; the Acworth Municipal Court Chief Judge’s Order issued on Tuesday, May 12, 2020; and the Council of Municipal Court Judge’s Best Practices & Guidelines for Operating Municipal Courts During the COVID-19 Recovery.
