Mattie's Call Issued for Man Missing from Cobb County

Police believe the man is attempting to reach family in New Jersey.

A 57-year-old Cobb County man with dementia has gone missing, sparking a Mattie’s Call from the Cobb County Police Department.

Kenneth Wayne Boston was last seen at 8 a.m. Thursday leaving his home in the 800 block of Akers Ridge Drive in the Cumberland area. He was behind the wheel of a blue, two door 2006 Toyota Scion with New Jersey license plate UWB42G. Police believe Boston is trying to get to New Jersey.

Boston is described as a light skinned black man who stands 5’8” and weighs 161 lbs. He has dementia, high blood pressure, a history of strokes, and is blind in his left eye. In September of this year, Boston was the subject of a different Mattie’s Call.
