Small Business Q&A: Woodstock Antiques

Acworth Patch contributor April Zlotnik talked with Suzie Chinal,  who owns with Kimberly Posey.

Acworth Patch: What's the hardest thing about being a small-business owner in Acworth?

Suzie Chinal: Letting people know you are here.

Acworth Patch: What's the best thing about your job?

Chinal: It’s my passion. The best part about my job is the people. We have loyal, regular customers that become part of the family. And I like learning something new every day about antiques.

Acworth Patch: What is the best thing about Acworth?

Chinal: The small-town feel.

Acworth Patch: Why did you choose to open up your business in Acworth?

Chinal: We bought an existing business. It was already an antique store. It had been here for two years when we bought it. We have owned this store for seven years.

Acworth Patch: Why did you pick this particular kind of business?

Chinal: I was already an antique dealer. It’s fun and interesting, and antiques get in your blood. If you love it, you love it. I enjoy capturing things of the past and keeping them new. We have quality merchandise here.

Acworth Patch: What are some of the services you offer that people don't know about?

Chinal: We offer any kind of home décor, including Persian rugs, lighting and furniture.

Acworth Patch: Is there anything else you would like to share about your business?

Chinal: We offer consignment, and we sell things online. We offer pickup and delivery services. When customers come in the store, they are surprised at how big and clean it is. We are really organized, and people are surprised at what we have.
