AT&T Names New Vice President and General Manager for Georgia/South Carolina

AT&T Leadership Announcement

AT&T has announced the appointment of industry leader Marvy Moore as Vice President and General Manager, overseeing operations in Georgia and South Carolina. Moore will lead the sales and operations for more than 1,300 employees, 89 AT&T-owned retail locations, and more than 600 national retail partners and authorized resellers across both states.

Moore joins the Georgia/South Carolina market after spending the past three years as Associate Vice President for Market Development in Business Solutions while based in Dallas.

“Marvy brings tremendous talent to the market,” said Kent Mathy, regional president of AT&T’s Southeast Mobility Market. “Her experience in nearly every aspect of the business, coupled with her energy and successful track record, make her the ideal leader for our Georgia/South Carolina market.

“My direction has always been to build, inspire and transform teams to high levels of performance,” said Moore. “This is a tremendous opportunity for me to lead an organization with a history and foundation of success, customer service, and service to our communities, and I am excited and honored to join their ranks.”

Moore has held various leadership positions in customer care, marketing, operations and sales. Prior to her previous assignment, she was a senior leader with W.W. Grainger Enterprise Sales and built a private practice as a Leadership Consultant.

Moore has a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University. She has a personal brand of mentoring and professional development as highlighted by her dedication to AT&T’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs.) She is an avid golfer, a member of several local community organizations, including Women in Golf Foundation and as Executive Advisor for Women of AT&T.
