2 Injured In Crash Involving Dump Truck In Milton
Milton police say the driver of the dump truck checked the GPS function on his cell phone before losing control of the vehicle.

MILTON, GA -- Two motorists were injured Wednesday evening in an accident involving a dump truck in Milton. Police, firefighters and EMS personnel were all dispatched to the Nov. 29 crash on Birmingham Road at Milton Point, which is between Henderson and Freemanville roads.
A preliminary report indicates a commercial dump truck was traveling eastbound on Birmingham Road when its driver "looked away from the road while checking the GPS function on his cell phone," the police department told Patch.
The dump truck dropped off the right side of the road and as the driver tried to regain control of the truck, he collided with a stone mailbox.
