One Scout’s capstone project directly benefited Milton Fields Green Cemetery, while others improved schools, churches, parks, and public spaces across the area, highlighting how local youth are quietly upgrading community life. 
• Judge will let Fulton County collect 2026 property taxes as county tax digest remains incomplete (11alive.com subscription) — Milton homeowners are not directly affected by Fulton County’s incomplete 2026 tax digest because the city, like Alpharetta and Roswell, collects its own property taxes. A judge has temporarily allowed Fulton County to bill 2026 taxes using 2025 millage rates until the state approves the new digest, ensuring county services and school systems can keep operating.
