The Alpharetta Police Department, with the assistance of the North Fulton SWAT team, on Wednesday arrested Cameron Walker, 17, and Jonathan Murray, 18, for the robbery and murder of Connor Mediate, 24, of Alpharetta. Walker and Murray are student athletes at Milton High School. On Oct. 14, police found Mediate unconscious at Collingwood Apartments off Kimball Bridge Road in Alpharetta. The incident happened shortly before 9 p.m., and officers were unable to resuscitate the man. He was declared dead at the scene. The arrests follow a month-long investigation that identified the two teens as the perpetrators, police said. The case remains under investigation, and the Alpharetta Police Department asks that anyone with information contact the department tip line at 678-297-6307.
