3 King's Ridge Students Perform in 'Les Miserables'
3 KRCS students perform in Les Mis on the Alliance Stage at the Woodruff Arts Center.
“There’s no business like show business!” Three King’s Ridge students will perform in Les Miserables on the Alliance Stage at the Woodruff Arts Center this weekend. Les Miserables is a musical based on the novel Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, French poet and novelist.
The musical is set in early 19th-century France and tells the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, who has been hunted by a ruthless policeman, Javert, after breaking his parole. Valjean agrees to care for a factory worker’s daughter - a decision that changes their lives forever.
KRCS student’s participating in the show: Tomas De La Rosa, Anna Corinne Galbreath and Danielle James. Tomas and Anna Corinne performs with the Youth Ensemble and Danielle performs with the Children’s Ensemble.
The show features students of many ages including youth, high school, college and young adult. It is presented by Director, Dave Clemmons and The Performer’s Warehouse. Showtimes are Friday, June 26 at 8:00 PM, Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM, and Sunday, June 28 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Tickets are available online at The Woodruff Arts Center. This production is not part of The Alliance Theatre Educational programming.
