MILTON, GA -- The Milton Public Library has received a handmade gift that's truly unique to its surroundings.
A 40-pound birdhouse made by local craftsman David Brooks was donated to celebrate the historic antecedents of the city's new library.
The work of art was inspired by one of the barns on the original Dinsmore farm, which is now home to the library. A functioning birdhouse, the item can be displayed indoors or outdoors and is made from siding preserved from the barns on the property.
