5 GA High School Grads To Play In Super Bowl 60

Five of the players on the Seahawks and Patriots got their start in Georgia. Here's where they went to high school.

Some familiar Georgia names are on the roster in Sunday’s Super Bowl LX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Five of the players on the two NFL rosters got their start in playing high school football in Georgia, according to High School Football America. They include a wide receiver, a cornerback and a quarterback.

  • Julian Ashby, Long Snapper, Parkview High School, Lilburn, Patriots
  • Joshua Dobbs, Quarterback, Alpharetta High School, Alpharetta, Patriots
  • Bradyn Swinson, Linebacker, Chapel Hill High School, Douglasville, Patriots
  • Jared Ivey, Linebacker, North Gwinnett High School, Suwanee, Seahawks
  • Ernest Jones IV, Linebacker, Ware County High School, Waycross, Seahawks

Fourteen former Texas high school athletes are on the rosters, with eight playing for the Patriots and six for the Seahawks. California has 13 players on the two teams’ rosters and Florida has eight.

In all, former high school athletes from 30 states will be playing in Super Bowl 60.
