5 Things to Do This Weekend
Whether it's a whole bunch of chili, a party that raises funds for charity or going green at an art gallery, this weekend has plenty of cheap fun available.

1. ACT1 Theatre presents Friday and Saturday, which promoters say provides fast lines and even faster exits as the lead character tries to present Hamlet with eccentric characters and bizarre settings.
2. The Alpharetta Public Safety Foundation will hold a chili cook off on Saturday from 11 a.m .-2 p.m. at Alpharetta Fire Station No. 1, with celebrity judges and attendeeds picking the best chili. Restaurants will be pitted against restaurants and Public Safety employees against each other.
3. Walter Reeves, the Georgia Gardener, is back. Meet him and gain practical gardening tips on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at in Milton.

4. Party the night away guilt-free–it's all for charity. will be held at in Alpharetta on Saturday from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. A live auction, poker, dancing and food are in store for attendees.
5. is going green. Starting on Sunday, March 12, the enclave of more than 100 artists is turning green for St. Patrick's Day. Shamrocks throughout the gallery indicate lucky prices. Green refreshments will be served. Monday –Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday noon-5 p.m.
