Alpharetta Begins Upgrading Traffic Signals
Signals along Westside Parkway, Mansell Road, North Point Parkway and Encore Parkway will be upgraded throughout January.

ALPHARETTA, GA — This month, the city of Alpharetta will embark on a process of upgrading traffic signals in its jurisdiction.
This new technology, the city noted, will notify staff when vehicle detectors are not working properly and can also better time signals based on real-time traffic data.
While these upgrades are underway, motorists should note the signals will be operating in flash mode and Alpharetta officers may be on site to direct traffic.
