Alpharetta Business Association Elects New Officers, Board Members

The Alpharetta Business Association has chosen a set of new faces to serve on its Board of Directors for 2015.

At the recent planning session, the board elected Steve Manley, president of Manley Land Design, Inc., to serve as the 2015-2017 president and Danny Broadway, MBA/partner with Advizex Technologies, as the 2015 vice president.

Buddy Gash, co-owner of Picture Framer, was also elected to serve as secretary/treasurer for 2015.

The board also welcomes Bookkeeping Express owner John Ray and Michael Duba, agent with the Michael Duba Agency/American Family Insurance, to serve three year terms as directors.

These new directors join the following board members: Alyx Korner, owner, Leather n Pearlel; Carol Anderson-Wood, C. Anderson-Wood, LLC; Chris Sedgwick, owner, Pure Taqueria; Dave Filipowicz, owner, Smokejack BBQ; Janet Rodgers, president and CEO, Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau; and Richard Debban, owner, RJD Architect, LLC.

“It’s exciting to be working with our current ABA board,” Manley said. “Our board members are passionate, have a solid understanding of small business and are committed to creating a thriving business environment in Alpharetta. It’s a great time to be doing business in Alpharetta.”

The Alpharetta Business Association is a nonprofit association dedicated to providing networking opportunities and informative programming through monthly breakfast networking meetings, monthly membership meetings, an annual Business Expo, the Alpharetta Farmer’s Market and various other events for the business community.
