Alpharetta Company Among Inc. Magazine's 'Best Places To Work'

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — One Alpharetta company made Inc. magazine's list of "The 346 Best Places to Work in 2019" published Friday, an annual compilation of firms the publication views as ideal work environments.

"A record number of companies clamored for recognition in our fourth annual Best Workplaces survey," Inc. magazine analysts wrote. "In a tight labor market, these businesses are out to nab top-performing employees by making life on the job ever more rewarding."

Companies making the list can be searched by state, industry, company size, and benefits —including generous parental leave, onsite medical and fitness, pet-friendly policies, tuition reimbursement, and more. The data is compiled from the more than 139,000 employees the magazine spoke to who highlighted their favorite parts of their company.

Vdart Inc, and IT services company in Alpharetta, was among the list, and said:

At VDart, culture is key. Our policy is to actively appreciate, recognize, and encourage every employee at least once a week. VDart believes employees do their best work when their environment is comfortable and reflective of their personality, so we encourage them to design their own workspaces, blurring the line between home and office. Vdart is a global, emerging information technology staffing and solutions provider with expertise in digital, cloud and business infrastructure services led by Sidd Ahmed.

Founded in 2007, the company's 2018 revenue was between $1-5 million.

Statewide, 12 Georgia-based companies made the list, each categorized as micro, small, medium, large or extra large in terms of the size of their employee base.

Those companies include Kabbage, SalesLoft, Syfan Logistics, CallRail, ParkMobile, Terminus, Everywhere Agency, Florence, Gasket Guy, Stable Kernel and Village Realty.

Employees from nearly 2,000 companies of all sizes and industries were surveyed with research conducted by Omaha's Quantum Workplace. Topics that were part of the surveying mix included trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed and audited the data. Once gathered, the data then determined ranking with use of a composite score of survey results.

This year, Inc. magazine reported, 74.2 percent of surveyed employees are engaged by their work — besting last year's 72.1 percent.
