Alpharetta CVB Redesigns Website

The Convention and Visitors Bureau notes the redesign brings the city's vibrancy to life through easily navigated details.

The Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a redesign of its website.

The site “paints a picture of Alpharetta while bringing its vibrancy to life through easily navigated details,” the CVB said on Monday. 

The site also remains consistent with Alpharetta’s innovative and tech savvy reputation which helps distinguish the city from other Georgia destinations.

“We maintained our brand integrity in the redesign,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We made sure we provided the same level of ease and confidence that our loyal customers expect while adding attractive new features to enhance our site so that we can continue to attract new audiences. We realize that the site needed to display compelling images and information about our hotels, restaurants, events and attractions, yet it also needed to be easy for potential visitors and meeting planners to find information about Alpharetta and that is what our new site is delivering to you today.”

With mobile traffic continuing to increase across all brands, the Alpharetta CVB has ensured its site is formatted to accommodate the many technology devices being used to search for information on Alpharetta.

The site is a “responsive” website, meaning the website code base is smart enough to deliver a different mobile-friendly layout depending on the size of the screen. As one’s screen gets smaller, the site adjusts its layout to make it easier to view on smaller devices. It should ensure a pleasant browsing experience for all website visitors, regardless of what type of device they use.

New website features were created with the visitor in mind with attractions, restaurants, events and lodging information placed throughout the site. The Alpharetta CVB’s beautiful photography of all facets of the city are prominently featured throughout the website.

Potential visitors can choose to receive communication from the Alpharetta CVB through a variety of ways including the electronic newsletter, downloadable brochures, booking hotel rooms through the booking engine or sharing information from the website on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Plus and email.
